DualEntry is a lifesaver for budgeting!

Forget QuickBooks Enterprise, DualEntry's Budgeting and Planning module has completely transformed how my team handles finances! The AI automation really cut down on manual data entry, saving us about 27% of our previous time. I'm telling all my business owner friends about this – definitely using them again for future needs!

Always solid for reporting

Unlike some other accounting platforms I've tried, DualEntry's Financial Reporting is consistently reliable. I've been using them for a while now, and even though they don't do public coupons, going for the annual plan always saves me about 20% compared to monthly. I'm hoping they'll integrate with more bank accounts soon, that'd be a nice improvement.

Good value on annual plan

I was looking for an ERP that wouldn't break the bank. Went with DualEntry's annual billing for the Financial Reporting and Expense Management. The upfront payment felt like a lot, but the discount made it worth it. I did a quick comparison with another tool we tried, and this seemed like a better deal overall for what it offers. My budget director was pleased with the cost savings versus our old manual process.

Easy setup, good features

Signed up for the General Ledger module. Setup was quick enough. The automated bank reconciliation worked well. It saved us some time already. Happy with the purchase. Will use again.

Reliable for AR/AP

This is my third year with DualEntry, mainly for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. It's consistently reliable. My team has fewer errors now. The platform has been stable, and updates usually add useful features without breaking anything. That's why we keep renewing.

Cash Flow Forecasting is a game changer!

DualEntry is amazing! We just started using the Cash Flow Forecasting and it has completely changed how we plan. The insights are so clear and actionable. Our old system was a mess, but this is so intuitive. I absolutely love the automated tasks, it really cuts down on the grunt work. I'm telling everyone in my network to check this out. It's fantastic!

Smooth implementation, solid support

We just rolled out the full AI-native ERP. The implementation process for integrating our existing bank accounts was surprisingly smooth, taking about a week with their support team's help. I was worried about data migration, but it went fine. The Real-time Audit Trail feature is especially useful for our compliance needs. Customer support was responsive when we had questions about multi-currency transactions. The Financial Analytics Dashboard gives a good overview, though I wish a few more custom report options were available out of the box. Overall, a solid platform for a scaling business.

Just got hit with the annual renewal for DualEntry and the price jump was pretty substantial compared to my first year. Anyone else seeing this? Wondering if there's a way to get the 'annual billing discount' after the initial period or if I missed something.

A AmitM 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I actually asked about this during my demo. The sales rep mentioned that the first-year price often includes a special discount, and subsequent years reflect the regular annual billing rate. So, the discount is still there, just from a higher starting point if that makes sense.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. They call it 'early adopter pricing' or something for the first year. After that, it goes to standard rates. I tried negotiating but didn't get much traction.

That's what I figured. Kind of annoying.

Just got off a demo with DualEntry. The AI automation for AP/AR looks really promising, especially for our growing transaction volume. Anyone actually using this day-to-day? How much time does it *really* save you?

P PriyaS 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Hey RaviK, we implemented DualEntry about 6 months ago, specifically for AP. It's been a game changer. Our team probably saves 10-15 hours a week just on invoice processing and reconciliation. It's not 100% hands-off, but the reduction in manual entry and error checking is huge.

D Deepak91 1 month ago
Agreed, the AP part is solid. We're still getting used to the AR side though.

That's a solid amount of time! Do you find the AI learns quickly with new vendors?
4
S SmitaR 1 month ago
We're a smaller firm, and honestly, the AI has been decent. For simpler transactions, it's pretty spot on. For anything complex, you still need human review, but it flags those pretty well. I'd say it cuts down about 30% of my manual work.
1
R RaviK 1 month ago
30% is still good for a small team. Thanks for the input!

Not sure honestly. We're still in the setup phase, and it feels like a lot of initial configuration to get the AI trained right. Hopefully it pays off soon.

Thinking of moving our financial stuff to DualEntry. We're a growing startup, about 30 people now. Is their AI-native ERP actually useful for a business our size, or is it overkill? Main pain point is manual reconciliation and reporting.

P Priya 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
We're a startup too, slightly smaller, and we've been using DualEntry for about 8 months. The AI automation for bank reconciliation is a game changer, seriously. Saves so much time. Reporting is pretty slick too, very customizable.

How was the implementation process?

A Anjali 3 weeks ago
I'd say it's suitable. We're around your size. The multi-entity consolidation features might be overkill right now, but you'll grow into them. For reconciliation and reporting, it's definitely a step up from traditional systems. Customer support for setup was pretty decent too.

We just did a demo. The AI part seems legit, especially for expense management and categorizing transactions. They also mentioned integration with existing bank accounts which is a must for us. Worth getting a personalized demo if you haven't already.

Our current ERP is getting really clunky, thinking about DualEntry. How does their multi-entity consolidation work? We have like 5 different legal entities and reporting for them is a nightmare right now.

V VikramS 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Hey NehaP, we also have multiple entities (4 total) and DualEntry's consolidation feature was a major selling point. It really simplifies things. You set up the mapping once, and then you can run consolidated reports with a few clicks. Intercompany eliminations are handled pretty well too.
11
P PoojaR 1 month ago
Does it support different currencies for the entities?

N NehaP 1 month ago
That sounds like a dream. Our current system takes days to consolidate.

R RajeshM 1 month ago
We just started the implementation for multi-entity. The initial setup looks a bit involved, but the DualEntry team has been pretty helpful with customer support for setup. Fingers crossed it delivers on the promise.

Multi-entity consolidation is one of their strong suits. We migrated from SAP B1 and the difference in reporting speed is night and day. Especially if your entities have different base currencies, it handles the conversions automatically.

Did you get any special pricing for migrating from a legacy ERP?

how does dualentry compare to netsuite? we're a growing company and need something robust.

T Troy 2 months ago
From my experience, DualEntry is way more focused on AI automation for all the boring accounting stuff. NetSuite is powerful but feels more traditional, you know? DualEntry is built from the ground up with AI.
2
L Lisa P. 2 months ago
I looked at both. DualEntry felt much more modern, especially with the AI stuff. Plus, their implementation fee waiver and startup discounts were a big factor for us compared to NetSuite's usual costs.

Anyone know if they offer a free trial for DualEntry? Would love to test it out before committing.

A Anna 2 months ago
I didn't see a public free trial when I signed up. I think you gotta do a demo first and they give you a custom quote based on that.
6
L Lisa 2 months ago
They don't really do free trials. It's more of a personalized demo experience, then they can get you set up with a plan that fits. That's how it worked for us anyway.

Thinking about switching to DualEntry from QuickBooks, but worried about implementation. How long does that usually take?

G Gwen 2 months ago
It really depends on your business's complexity, but they do have a dedicated team to help you through the whole setup process. My small business was up and running within a few weeks, which was faster than I expected.
6
A Amber H. 2 months ago
Yeah, I think they say it's pretty smooth. They walk you through it. Not like some other ERPs where you're just left to figure it out yourself.

Are there any hidden costs after the demo? Like for integrations or something?

C Cleo Doyle 3 months ago
Not that I've found. They were pretty upfront about all the pricing after our demo. Integrations are usually part of the API suite, so it's included in the plan you choose.
2
M Mia Kaur 3 months ago
Nah, the pricing is usually pretty transparent once you get your custom quote. No surprise fees for standard features or API stuff in my experience.
